1844/1958, Egypt/Sudan, specialised collection on apprx. 350 album pages in three Schaubek binders, starting with stampless covers Turkish period, a strong part French P.O. Alexandria/Port Said from a disinfected 1844 cover, the adhesives of Egypt (and of Sudan) collected very intensively and specialised with colours/shades, units, postmarks etc. Special attention should be paid to the marvellous range of covers, cards, stationeries and ppc which inevitable dominate this collection. This collection contains apprx. 500 entires (!!), of which apprx. 80% are before 1930; also incl. ship mail and hotel mail. An outstanding collection of great importance, the specialist should view very carefully!
