1840/1980 (ca.), used collection in 2 binders, deeply specialised with plenty of types and better stamps, main value in the pre-1930 issues and special strength in the QV period. Apparently all major rarities are to be found in that collection, e.g. 2 copies 2s. brown, top stamps 5s., 10s. and £1, a marvellous copy of £5 orange, £1 brown-lilac wm Three Imperial Crowns and Three Orbs, £1 Seahorse and also a very impressive section OFFICIALS. The quality varies -as always- slightly but is overall attractive; many stamps are signed. In addition some duplicates in a stockbook and on stockcards (also here some better stamps!). Really a comprehensive treasure of GB philately, careful viewing seems to be necessary, since there are surely plenty of things to discover!
