1877 (Dec 14): 4 k. green stationery postcard without the additional words “and abroad” in the 2nd text line from below, dispatched in St. Petersburg (3 diff. cds on front) and sent to Aarau (Switzerland), no arrival mark. Folded vertically, small tear on bottom and residual mounting material on the back. This postcard was issued following the new tariff of June 1875 at the rate of 4 k. which was valid within Russia and abroad. As this 2nd information was lacking on the card, it was retracted immedeately and only few examples are known (four without this card offered). The rarest Russian postal stationery which is extremely undervalued in most catalogues.
